Introducing the brand New 2759 Kingston Condos, a proposed 9-storey mixed-use condominium building designed by Baron Nelson Architects Inc for Aroma on the southwest corner of Kingston Road and St. Quentin Avenue, in Toronto's Cliffcrest.
A nine-story, mixed-use skyscraper with at-grade commercial space is what Aroma II Inc. proposes replacing a derelict commercial plaza and low-rise residential homes at 2759 Kingston Road in Scarborough's Cliffcrest neighborhood with.
The Baron Nelson Architects-designed plan would be located on the trapezoid-shaped land at the southwest corner of Kingston Road and St. Quentin Avenue, two blocks east of Brimley Road, with a height of 36.83m and an FSI of 4.3. Step-backs offer terraces for certain units and transition the development down to the low-density dwellings in the neighborhood to the south, incorporating a 7.55m setback along the southern property.
Amenity space totaling 352m2 is envisaged, with interior space on level 3 and outdoor area on terraces. On top of the mechanical penthouse, a green roof is intended. St. Quentin Avenue would provide access to a 55-space, two-level underground garage. Seven of the 97 bicycle places would be reserved for guests.
Victoria Park and Kennedy stations are served by TTC buses that run along Kingston Road to the west of the building, and buses that go to Warden station may be found at St. Clair Ave. East for more frequent service. About 1.4 kilometers separate the project from the ScarboroughGO.
