Introducing the 123 Wynford Drive Condos, a Moriyama & Teshima-designed residential building for Originate Developments Inc on the southeast corner of Wynford Drive and Don Valley Parkway, in Toronto's Victoria Village. The two towers are 48, and 55 storeys high and contain a total of 1,128 units. A selection of different kinds of bedroom suites will be available in 123 Wynford Drive condos, with the Noor Cultural Centre situated at the bottom of the second tower. The 1,128 units includes 660 one-bedroom units (58.5%), 321 two-bedroom units (28.5%), and 147 three-bedroom units (13%).
123 Wynford Drive Condos will have five levels of underground parking. A special ramp located inside the northwest tower would be used to reach the garage, which would have 466 parking spots. Wynford Drive would supply the driveway, which would help with the site's level differences. There would be 1,159 bicycle parking spaces available on levels one and two.
The distinctive Japanese aesthetics of the 123 Wynford Drive Condos are combined with the bold lines of Brutalism thanks to a special collaboration between Originate, Kirkor, ERA, Plant, and renowned architect Raymond Moriyama.]
The first seven levels of this structure represent the history of the property, which is being built above Toronto's original Japanese Cultural Centre. Precast cladding's characteristic pagoda-like form is indicated by seamless, wraparound balconies that enclose tiny windows.
