Description
1840 Bayview Condos
Introducing the brand-new 1840 Bayview Condos, a proposed 34-story mixed-use condominium project designed by architects Alliance for Skale Developments on the southwest intersection of Bayview Avenue and Broadway Avenue in Toronto's Sherwood Park. 377 residential units are located in this 34-story condominium building, which is 117.85 meters tall. The 24,301m2 of gross floor area would comprise 202m2 of commercial space. The site would have a total density of almost 14.75 times its lot area, which would result in a significant influx of new residents and activity in the Sherwood Park neighborhood.
Sherwood Park is a well-liked green area in Midtown Toronto and a favourite respite for inhabitants from the corresponding neighborhood. A little distance north of Eglinton Avenue East, this new development of condos would see the construction of a mixed-use tower on the west side of Bayview Avenue, south of the park.
TOP REASONS TO INVEST
One of Toronto's most intriguing neighborhood redevelopments is arguably the Yonge and Eglinton area. This has been acknowledged by the city, which has designated the region as an "urban growth hub," indicating that it has had significant expansion in recent years and is likely to experience more growth.
The atmosphere of the neighborhood has drastically changed as a result of the rapid growth of contemporary office and condominium complexes close to the crossroads. What was formerly thought to be on the outskirts of the city today feels as urban as downtown. Today, the stretch is lined with upscale stores, services, and restaurants, and a multimillion-dollar commercial renovation that is currently under construction will only further the area's change.
One benefit that makes this a prime location for investment is the upcoming Eglinton crosstown LRT, which is anticipated to begin service in or around 2020. Yonge and Eglinton will be one of only a few crossings in Toronto with access to rapid transit in all four directions once it is operational. Right now, it takes fifteen minutes to get to downtown Toronto from the Eglinton subway station.
The LRT will promote a seamless commute and further boost connectivity. Studies suggest that the modern tenant wants to walk or take public transportation to work, thus this is extremely advantageous.
This is a well-liked, energetic city that draws some of the best renters, young professionals, and expanding families. The number of condominiums and mixed-use structures either being built or in the proposal stage indicates that the trend isn't about to slow down any time soon.
