Welcome to Lakeview Village condos, located on 177 acres of prized land containing around 6000 homes along the Mississauga lakefront, the project fulfills the vision of a revolutionary and sustainable new community that will be the pride of the world. The linked towers of Harbourwalk raise the bar for 21st-century placemaking, establishing the norm for exquisite waterfront living. Talented developers like BrantHaven, Caivan, Greenpark, Deco, Opus, and Tridus will be developing the community.
Lakeview village condos are one of the Greater Toronto Area's first instances of a community-driven, bottom-up initiative. The city of Mississauga collaborated extensively with the community to create the master plan, and Lakeview Community Partners Limited (LCPL) was chosen as a development partner. Since then, LCPL has spearheaded the effort to genuinely re-engage the community and advance the master plan goal for a thriving and distinct waterfront community.
As Master Plan Architect, Sasaki joined the ongoing project and was tasked with energizing, rationalizing, and making the earlier work implementable. Sasaki has designed a master plan, a landscape framework, and an overall design for Lakeview Village in collaboration with LCPL, local consultants, and other stakeholders while trying to include community feedback and suggestions.
A 26-hectare conservation area, which will be a green oasis in the middle of the metropolis, is a key component of this large-scale project. Not to mention, there will be 200,000 square feet of cultural space in addition to nearly 600,000 square feet of job and institutional space. Waterway Common will also be a park that connects the current park system.
The neighborhood will be split into seven distinct districts, each with its own unique purposes and qualities.
The Waterfront Park has direct access to the longest Canadian Pier on the great lakes along with having beautiful picnic spots, steps for socializing, and fitness stations. The property also features a waterfront trail connection and a pebble beach. It also has a place for professionals with a world-class civic center.
Residents and tourists alike can discover a superbly constructed shoreline with plenty of room for water activities, hiking, resting, attending a concert, watching fireworks, visiting outdoor markets, and learning about the natural environments surrounding them at the Waterfront Park at Lakeview Village.
The Marina boasts direct access to the Future Broadwalk as well as the Lakefront Promenade Park. The property has pedestrian and bike trails as well as opportunities to dine and shop alongside the marina and lake views. It has beautiful views and plenty of picnic spots.
The neighborhood of Lakeviewvillage condos on the western edge of the Waterfront can be used for adventure water sports and relaxed dining time alike or even used as a springboard for other activities.
Lakeview Square is the hub of the Village and is a vital feature of the Waterfront. A large north-south link from Lakeshore Road connects visitors and residents all the way to Lake Ontario's beachfront. The area is surrounded by a hotel, houses, restaurants, stores, maker spaces, and outdoor performance stages, all of which gaze out on the colorful scene as tourists and inhabitants mix and mingle. Lakeview Square is the place to be, to be inspired, and to experience the thrill of being a part of something special.
Ogden Park, a stream of green flowing through the heart of Lakeview Village condos, is a network of parks connected by pedestrian pathways and surrounded by mid-rise housing that looks out on these lush and visually appealing places. A community center, community gardens, an off-leash dog park, playgrounds, outdoor communal eating, pollinator pods, an event pavilion, and even a skateboard park may be found here.
Aviator Green, situated in the northwest portion of Lakeview Village condos, is a manicured Greenway that provides inhabitants with a nice path to go east and west, from Lakefront Promenade to the Innovation District. Interestingly, the Village's school overlooks Aviator Green, demonstrating how tightly connected life will be at Lakeview Village.
This extraordinary gathering space of Lakeview village condos has two personalities: Waterway Common will be transformed into a skating arena in the wintertime. During the summer, a picturesque water feature is linked to a Marina waterway to the west and the Innovation District to the east.
The Lakeview Village condos Innovation District is a location to transform our shared future, to inspire, to challenge, and to expand the horizon of our thinking. Imagine, develop, and create; express your thoughts and be inspired. Work together at the Hub, gather on the pier, or take a group out for an art stroll. Work in an inspiring environment.
Whether the people who enjoy working in these modern spaces come from outside Lakeview Village or are just a few steps away, these forward-thinking businesses will support the retail and cultural amenities, with residential, business, leisure, and entertainment activities all interconnected and supporting one another.
